Martin Gil

Managing Partner

Martin is a business leader with 30 years of proven leadership experience and a track record in large and small organizations, creating transformational change and driving sustainable innovation. He worked in banking and logistics in Colombia and the US, and in 1996 joined The Coca-Cola Company in his native Colombia. His successful career spanned strategy, consumer marketing, customer and operational marketing, and general management roles across Latin America, North America, and Asia. Along the way, he was a board member and advisor across a number of organizations, including NGOs, the American Chamber in Indonesia, the US-ASEAN Business Council, the Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia, and a mentor for Endeavor high-impact startups. Recently, he has been an entrepreneur, advisor, and investor in purpose-driven environmental enterprises. He is a founding partner and current Managing Director for Zero by Fifty Ventures, an incubator for environmental startups, and is a founding partner and Head of Strategy for Ubuntoo, an environmental solutions platform. Mr. Gil has a degree from Universidad de los Andes, in Bogota, Colombia, in Industrial Engineering, and completed the Executive Program in Management at Columbia University Business School.
