Carolina Obregón

Carolina Obregón is an accomplished designer specializing in systems thinking, sustainable fashion, and biodesign. With an M.A. in Fashion and Creative Sustainability from Aalto University in Finland and an undergraduate degree in Fashion Studies from Parsons School of Design, she brings over 15 years of professional experience in the fashion industry to teaching and research. Carolina's dedication to sustainability and community empowerment led her to establish the first undergraduate program in Sustainable Fashion and Management in South America at Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Colombia. At Universidad de los Andes, her students thrice won the Biodesign Challenge, co-founded E.biodye, and is part of NanoFreeze, a bionanotechnology startup. She is associate director and assistant professor in the school of fashion at Parsons School of Design in New York.
